Taylor Swift's Album Sales Lost landslide With One Direction

One Direction once to prove that they are not a seasonal phenomenon. Success on the first album, this time they repeat it the next step by TAKE ME HOME. This album stands firmly at the top of the Billboard 200.
According to Billboard, the album One Direction have sold up to 540,000 copies in a week. These results are far beyond Taylor Swift with RED album 'only' sold 145,000 copies in the same week.

The third place was occupied by a soundtrack album of The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II, which sold 93,000 copies. The weeknd with TRILOGY album is just below with sales of about 86,000 copies.

Of the genre is harder, Soundgarden stands proudly in fifth place with a ANIMAL KING album sold 83,000 copies. Of course, these achievements are encouraging considering their debut album since the vacuum in a long time.
