As reported by The Sun, Niall broke with Amy because frontman One Direction too busy with his career. He was not able to maintain a relationship with her lover.

"Sadly, Niall and Amy broke up. Niall broke because he did not have enough time for her lover," said one source.

This clear separation makes Amy sad. According to one source, 20-year-old student was initially willing to leave her boyfriend for a relationship with Niall.

"It is understandable that Amy was very upset because she had a boyfriend before a relationship with Niall, and Niall finally. Yet nobody hurt, they are still close to it," the source added.
